Bread with Faith

I have finally got round to releasing “Bread with Faith” in the Android app store. This combines the two previous apps I had: “Bread by Faith” and “Just Bread” which are long in the tooth and very behind the times in coding!

The source of the data is the same but a slightly different PHP script extracts the right data, gets an up-to-date rendition of the Bible translation you wish to have to display the key verse content. This data is cached on our server.

I hope this will allow people to get back into reading daily devotionals every day again.

Catching up (part 2)

Well, I had good intentions of getting things back up and running but ran into a few problems – back in hospital for another extended ‘experience’ but was able to come out a while ago… unfortunately I was in no shape to pick up on any work back then – but am recovering well once again.

I will be restarting daily devotions before the end of the month (October 2019) as well as re-writing the Android apps which go along with the daily devotions. I have a long way to go on the apps but hopefully they will be back before the end of the year!

See you all soon!

Catching Up…

Due to an extended time in hospital and a few weeks of recovery time, nothing has been updated since Feb 2019. I have now gone through and updated server files and application files but have not yet restarted the daily devotions that I was doing previously. They should be restarting by Monday at the latest!

Thank you all for your prayers – I am back at home and recovering well! It is still going to be a long road before I can get back to my normal weight / strength and abilities, but God is good and has been looking after me every step of the way.

Who are we?

You may ask “who are we?”

We ask this all the time!

I guess Kaldroid is just an historical name made up from the company DJ created many years ago and ‘Android’ – a combination just like some of the programming done back then.

This name is still used as the originator of Kaldroid apps written for Android; though not too much development happens on them nowadays. Things may change when time permits!
